Strawberry brooches and tea cup pin cushions!

Pop along and join the craft collective at either Poppy Mae's or the Library in Westbourne to make your very own strawberry brooch and/or tea cup pin cushion.

I will have felt and threads for the brooches but if you have any bits and pieces hanging around in your sewing box please do bring them along with you.

If you would like to make a tea cup pin cushion, a tea cup/saucer is required! I'll have a few with me to sell for £1 or so but if you have a favourite that you would like to use and convert into a lovely pin cushion and  thread holder then bring those along with you too! *the pin cushion can be attached in a way that won't ruin or alter the tea cup if you'd rather not use glue.

These 2 projects make lovely presents to give or to keep for yourself!

Just to remind, these projects are supporting breast cancer care so remember your pennies because any donations will be greatly received and sent to the charity after the session.

If you have any questions or queries before the session you can email me: westbournecraftcollective@gmail.com  or ask the library staff at Westbourne Library.

For details please see the first post on the blog (on the right hand side for newbie blog users) or the posters on display at each venue.

Hope to see you there!

Pop along to the first Westbourne Craft Collective sessions...

The first meetings will take place on:
1st November at Poppy Mae on Poole Road in Westbourne between 5 - 7pm
5th November at Westbourne Library starting at 10am

Posters and mini flyers are available at each venue. The library have a sign up sheet for you to add your name to.
I'm celebrating the launch of the Craft Collective by holding Strawberry Tea themed fundraising sessions in support of Breast Cancer Care - you will be able to create your own strawberry felt brooch and/or tea cup pin cushion!
Whilst there is no fee to join in, a small contribution to help cover the cost of materials and a donation to the charity will be greatly appreciated.

I'm really looking forward to seeing you there!
